People think they are smart enough to fool other people but they don't realise that there is always someone smarter than them (*wink*)
We all know that having more followers definitely helps in boosting our Steemit profile but some users go to great lengths (often questionable) in getting a following.
I usually don't get any Unfollows but this time I decided to stalk the person who Unfollowed me because my gut told me that something was fishy.. and I was right!
I went to this user's profile page as soon as I got the notification. At that time he was following close to 1100 People. I kept on refreshing the page and with every refresh the following count was going down by leaps and bounds.
He is just one of the many users who are employing a very old trick to gain followers! Follow as many people as you can, some of them will follow you back. After a few days just unfollow all of them. This will make your profile look good as you will have more Followers and Less Following.

Just as I was writing this post, I got another Unfollow and sadly this user also did the same damn thing!!
