What are some ways people use multiple accounts?

Hey everyone,

I'm writing this from my phone, so it's just going to be a quick note without all of the bells and whistles. But I wanted to ask the community about different ways that people use multiple accounts on here.

The reason I'm asking is that I first started this account to explore the platform. Now that I'm becoming more involved as a user, I'm thinking that it would make sense to create separate channels that focus on specific niches I am passionate about, i.e., journalism, blockchain/cryptocurrencies, photography, music, etc.

One of the reasons for doing this is to focus the feeds of my particular interests, since it doesn't look like there's really a good way to filter through who I am following. The other is to focus the output of each particular channel. A comment that I saw in the 'steemSTEM' Steemit.chat channel yesterday (I think it was that one) mentioned that as Steem and Steemit gain in popularity, niche channels will likely do better as people will look for focused content.

Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

As always, thank you for reading.
