When @ejemai called me and told me about a wonderful idea he had, I was sure he was up to something because he was smiling and excited about the way that idea was making him feel.
I decided it was worth a listen and so I listened.

STACH by the way is Steem Accelerator Hub and its a physical collaboration space in Port Harcourt Nigeria.

So he got down to talking and after ranting for what was some 33 minutes, (yes, I timed him) I was like confused and wowed.

  • Confused because he was talking about providing free WiFi to people in a country that is currently in recession and he will have to pay for a shop space, electricity, security etc.

  • Wowed because how can someone who wasn't even making anything on Steemit be dreaming of giving back?

At that time in July when he started aggressively campaigning Steemit, there was nothing to show that he was a Steemian. Earning was either 0.00 or mostly less than 1SBD, bt he was sure Steemit was the future.

So he told me I had to be registered so that I too can work on Steemit and make something of myself.

Months after, I am glad I listened to him and encouraged him. Since inception, STACH has onboarded over 80 persons and have active users no fewer than 40 who post daily on Steemit and are earning some SBDs.

Today, STACH has become a movement in the offline that is trying to decentralize the space that is highly dominated by the government and greedy corporations.
Last week we did a campaign at the Port Harcourt Pleasure Park and the outcome was amazing. We have no idea how many of these persons will join Steemit, but I am sure they will be in their dozens.

Steemit is an amazing platform and it has helped some of us look beyond enriching ourselves to helping others get settled.
The Hub is a place for collaboration and everything done in there is done for free to users. We are now looking to doing more for the community by making available workspaces where creative commons can co-create and be themselves.
STACH's weekly report boasts of talented writers and contents creators.

There are so many things that needs to be done in educating people about Steemit and cryptocurrency, and STACH is on a mission to make collaboration easy.

Take a look @stach's blog and see the wonderful things it does for the community and be a support for this movement that will help more people get onboarded into the Steemit ecosystem.
