As you probably noticed, the Steem blockchain was down for half of the day yesterday. I'm glad the witnesses managed to get the blockchain running again. Below is how it impacted the statistics. As one would expect, the number of posts and votes were very low yesterday.
I think we can expect an official post later today (or this week) of what happened and how they fixed it, but I can imagine the Steemit team and the top witnesses need some sleep first after such a crazy day. Thank you to all who've been involved getting the chain back up again!
