Dear Steemian Friends
I joined Steemit on Aug 16, 2017 and I just finished my 9 months on Steemit.
Last year at this time, I began to know about Steemit but it was only on Aug 16th that I registered an account with them.
9 Months Into Steemit:
Reputation Score: 67
Followers: 1869
My reputation score improved only by one point since last month. As you go higher up, it takes time to build up the reputation as more is required as we ascend to 70.
I write these monthly milestone posts for newbies so that they get an idea of how other Steemians move along month by month. In that way, they can follow along what works and what doesn't work.
No man is an island
In order to succeed on Steemit, you need to get to know the community and know what different groups on Steemit are working on. Having an exposure to the different groups will help you get involved with the different projects and for others to get to know you.
Those who are loners and just post even everyday will not get very far. After all Steemit is a community.
Key Word: Community
This is what I have learned when I began Steemit. Always think in terms of "Community" and not your isolated yourself. Once you have worked yourself up to some Steem Power, learn to delegate to support other Steemian Community projects. This is a sure win to help you succeed in Steemit. I have not powered down since joining Steemit because I am here to build the community with my skills and resources.
So in this past month, I have taken a look at my SP and decided to delegate different SP to support different COMMUNITIES.
1. Seven Fingers Community
The founder @arie.steem founded this project 6 months ago. The project that wants to make the Steemit platform even better in delivering great content for Steemians. Their ambition is to provide education to all Steemians that exist in Indonesia so that they can contribute original quality content. The whole idea is to help minnow as well as communities to curate good content every day with a strong education system in the Sevenfingers radio on discord.
This past month, I started delegating SP to support their community as they launch several different projects..
2. Steemph-Antipolo Community
Steemph Antipoolo is made up of a community of Steemians located in Antipolo headed by @ruah. They share their different talents and skills with a common goal to reach out to their community. They extend their kindness by offering their time, presence and strength to build up communities of families, schools, children, adults etc. Everyone in the community is important so that the caring and appreciation they give can be extended from generations to generations.
In the past month, I also delegated SP to support this project as I know they are working hard to build up this warm people-based community.
3. Qurator Community
@Qurator is a curation guild with the sole purpose of promoting original content with quality created by hardworking Steemians. To appreciate their work, they offer upvotes to support their fellow Steemians! They also promote these posts by featuring 5 Best blog posts in their daily blog posts called 'The Daily Qurator". This is also a community based group you can find on Discord.
They have upvoted my work many times, and therefore in this past month, I delegated SP to support their community project.
I hope this post can help Steemit newbies to grow and strive further ahead by giving support to some of these great communities.
Thank you for your time and kind attention,
Rosa
