Hey Friends
I am fairly new here, but I saw the recent logo changes and I thought it would be cool to play with some animations. I thought I would share what I came up with. It rotates clockwise with a with a bit of a size bump, then stutters a bit like a rusty crank, before rotating back again.
I also made a version for both day an night mode.
And of course, all rights/credit reserved by whomever originally created the logo, I merely copied the logo so I could animate it. I found the image in a post by @steemitblog , so please let me know if there are any issues and I will gladly remove this post.

So after reading my own post a couple of times I realised that I might have made the mistake of assuming knowledge, so let me add a little bit extra to this post.
This animation was made in Adobe After Effects, and all the animation was "hand made". If you look at the graphs below you can see the rate at which it rotates and scales.
Teal line = Rotation | Red line = Scale
You can also see the Jitter represented by the 4 dots in the middle, as they all rotate the object 1° clockwise. Hopefully this extra edit adds some value to the post, and give the non-animators some insight into what our world looks like.
