Steemit? SteeMart (not SteemArt)!

I have been a member of the Steemit community for a month now. When I first joined, I was like many other newbies, thinking that our goal is to write a nice article that will one day attract upvotes from whales. So I have spent all my time trying my best to write something interesting and expecting that my post will be upvoted by some powerful whales on Steemit. As you can think of, many newbies become disappointed when they see again and again that no one upvoted their articles, which in turn has made many people choose to leave Steemit.

I had the same feeling initially until one day I found something. Surprisingly, Steemit is not only about writing articles. People do many many other things on Steemit. Thanks to the blockchain technology, no one can hide anything on Steemit, at least in theory. Do your own research and you will probably see: upvotes are being bought and sold. Steem Powers are being delegated and undelegated. Surprisingly, people make money (in the form of SBD and/or Steem) by doing all these buying/selling and delegating/undelegating. Wow, this is not only Steemit. This is also a SteeMart!

I am not saying it good to buy/sell votes. What I love is the concept of SteeMart. People talk about globalization in this world. However, real globalization is never easy to achieve. Don't you see the current trade war between USA and China? But on Steemit, we have achieved 100% globalization. Do you know where is the person you bought and sold votes from/to? Do you know where is the person you delegate your SP to? It is very likely that person is on the other side of the world. This is indeed globalization!

In my opinion, Steemit is more like a SteeMart. By the way, I searched the word 'SteeMart' on Google. Basically the search turned out to be Steem Art. Remember that the SteeMart I am talking is not SteemArt. Let me try to define SteeMart clearly.

SteeMart, a globalized market based on the Steemit blockchain.

Now, how do you think about SteeMart?
