SSP 100 Day Challenge (Day 4): Zarpa, Capataz | Set Sail, Foreman

This is my fourth entry for the Steemit School Poetry 100 Day Challenge.

The translation is not always word by word. I took some poetic licenses to make the English version as compelling as the original one without changing the meaning.

ESPAÑOL

ZARPA, CAPATAZ

Alba garza agarra la rana parda
la traga, amarga, mas la zampa
A la larga más valdrá tragarla
a pasar largas arcadas.

La playa brava arranca la sal,
barcas amarradas danzan a la mar
largas, planas, francas, atracadas
narran la acabada batalla a la alta mar.

Alcatraz, fragatas, almas aladas alzan

ENGLISH

SET SAIL, FOREMAN

A White heron grasps a brown frog
it swallows it, it's bitter, but it gobbles it.
In the long term it's better to swallow it
than suffer longs retching spasms.

The violent undertow rips the salt away,
moored boats dance in the sea
long, plain, free, moored
they narrate the finished battle to the open sea

Gannets, frigatebirds, winged souls, ascend
until they reach the highest stripe
only to plunge into the barbaric sea
and catch big eyes, pompanos, squids.

Set sail, false foreman, to the bitter sea
Do some work!, elongate your cloak to the sea
do, set sail!, set sail up to that place
until you no longer reflect the intense lime,
until you cry out, your scarlet throat,
you'll reach the void at the end of the flat sea.
