My trip to Fukuoka, Japan #1 /

Hi Steamians, today I like to share my trip to Fukuoka, Japan in the recent.
I was so surprise when I landing at the time of sunset. The sky is dyed so red. The brilliant yellow, deep red and deep purple colors were reflecting in the whole sky. Most the people stopped to enjoy the beautiful scenery. I suddenly remember I had been here ever in spring of that year. The cherry trees were bloomed here. Fukuoka always gave me a surprise at first sight.

We had a dinner that is a local specialty. Spicy mentaiko sausages were made of marinate Alaska cod eggs in a spicy sauce. The visceral nabeyo-ri was made of beef sausage as the main ingredients, with fresh Korean dishes, leeks, chopped chilli and garlic seasoning.

The day of tomorrow we visited to Nokonoshima island. It’s an island extending from Bodo bay, Fukuoka, It needs to take more than ten minutes to get there by ferry. You can buy ticket to shuttle between the Meinohama ferry passenger terminal and the island. There is a park in the north of island. This is a famous scenery spot. Rape flowers bloom in March, daisy flowers bloom in April, marigolds bloom from May to June, sunflowers bloom in August every year. That was the season of cosmos in October.

Standing on the shore of Bodo bay and looking at the sea melted into the sky. We were strolled in the park. Enjoying the lush and colorful flowers. There is so beautiful and far from the hustle and bustle. I just had a wish to stay there for the beautiful scenery.
We visited the island as long as we could and caught up the last ferry to back to Bodo bay.

At the afternoon, we focused on the palace hell shrine. It honors empress consort Jingū, is thought to bless the business is thriving. There is the biggest woven string that made of dry rice stalks of Japan. It symbolizes the separation of the divine and the outside world. There is a secret sight – the path of light. There are only a few days before and after February 20 and October 20 every year can enjoy the sight of the path of light. That’s amazing view when the golden light of sunset went through the torii and shined on the straight road. The road is the only one entry to the shrine. In fact, there were many people to wait the light view there when we got there at 4 PM. Due to so much people there we just took a few photos hastily then went along with the road to the seaside. The setting sun painted the sky, clouds and sea. It’s fascinating that two kids were playing there happily. We enjoyed the sunset glow there until the dark night came.
