Liest man die Prognosen für Edelmetalle für das Jahr 2018 so wird schnell klar dass Silber heuer mehr Potenzial hat als Gold. Allerdings was nützt jedoch eine Rendite von etwa 12% wenn alleine die Mehrwertsteuer in Österreich schon 20% beträgt? Zum Glück gibt es steuerfreie Alternativen.

Eine die ich heute vorstellen will ist die Kombination von Zollfreilagerung in Liechtenstein und Edelmetall Konto bei der Direktbank.

Bei der einfachen Zollfreilagerung werden erworbene Edelmetalle in sicheren Tresoren außerhalb des Bankensystems eingelagert und man erhält einen Ordrelagerschein mit dem man das Silber bzw. Gold jederzeit auslösen kann.

Beim Edelmetall Konto wird das erworbene Silber (oder Gold) ebenfalls im Zollfreilager gelagert, jedoch erhält man statt einem Lagerschein ein Benutzerkonto über das man sich über den aktuellen Wert und Menge seiner Edelmetalle informieren kann. Brauch man Geld erteilt man lediglich eine Verkaufsorder und der entsprechende Verkaufsbetrag wird auf eine Debitkarte geladen und ist sofort verfügbar.

If you only have duty-free storage, purchased precious metals are stored in safe vaults outside the banking system, and you get a warehouse receipt with which you can release the silver or gold at any time.

With the precious metal account, the acquired silver (or gold) is also stored in the warehouse, but instead of a warehouse receipt, you get a user account that informs you about the current value and quantity of your bullion. If you need money, you just place a sell order and the corresponding amount is loaded onto a debit card and immediately available.
