Did You Bring Enough For The Rest Of Class?- Flash Fiction

No one could take their eyesight off  of it. There it was, at the back of the class, the skeleton. The teacher had promised he would bring it in by the end of the semester. The students were starting to think he was a liar. So did the staff. To have something so rare.

The teacher turned off the lights except one, a spotlight that shone on the remains. The skeleton's shadow was pianted on the wall. Everyone started to whipser to each other. It was complete. Every bone where it should be.

"It looks so real," one of the students yelled.

"That's becuase it is," the teacher said with a smug smile.

"How did you get it?" asked another student.

"I found it in my house, I took one of those that was already here, it was in the basement."

"And who did it belong too?"

"I think his name was Jim... he must have hid when we the battle was happening. I knew there were still human bones left on this planet... but a full skeleton."

The teacher took his left paw and snapped the head off of the skeleton. He opened his large maw and tossed the head into his mouth. There was a large CRUNCH. The other students salivated as they watched. Then he took the rest of the bones, broke them off one at a time and handed them to the class.
