As many Steemians know, Cubais a photographer’s dream. Their culture is quite interesting being a complex mixture of different influences from European and African origins. Cuba is also a treasure trove of art, music and cuisine. Fortunately, in recent years many Cuban artists and musicians have been granted greater freedom to travel abroad to showcase their talents.
These photos were taken in Old Havana during my visit in November 2016, which happened to be during US Presidential Election and just a couple weeks before Fidel Castro’s death.
