I came across @cabelindsay Steemit Vision Quest today.
In his intro video he gently picks his acoustic guitar and talks about his positive, loving, sharing, hopes for the future.
The rhythm in which he played as he spoke reminded me of when I used to play guitar as a kid.
I would get into a hypnotic pattern of 3/4 or 4/4 picking and rock that 3/4 sized Valencia guitar. I only had a limited number of basic chords I knew, but I would just randomly cycle through them.
I told him about it and that I still had that guitar I got when I was 9, in the cupboard.
I set myself the goal on getting it out and reengaging that vibe which I did.
He encourages all to
Bring your Vision for the future into focus for the higher good of all of us.

Sky Meets Sea is is the first #svq theme.
Week 1 task asks you to express yourself creatively with an original artwork that helps visualize the theme:
Sky Meets Sea.
All mediums of expression welcome.
Here is my contribution.
I am inclined to work it up a lot more. But I would like to think I am capable of finding a better balance within my current limits. I placed a figure, a representation of myself floating in the waves between the sea and the sky. Maybe you can see it?
My husband @azurejasper revealed my illness many months ago, and asked for support and awareness of our ongoing struggle..
We were blown away by the flood of love and support that came our way.
We still need this support.
My ability to function has not improved.
Any small gains I have made have faded in the fatigue both emotional and physical, that comes with ongoing illness and at times limited hope.
My life has haltered recently, but not gracefully or by my choosing. Physically I have stopped, but the slowing and the checking in and balancing still needs some work.
I have reengage my creative side, but with the same momentum in which I was chasing my previous ambitions.
It has been both an isolating and painful period for us in our everyday world, but I also feel / know that in this stoppage and being exactly here right now has me more real than I have been to myself for a long time.
Within that real awaits my potential.
Steemit has reacquainted me with these things already, my mind, my creativity. Now I need to nurture them rather than instantly start brainstorming on how to capitalise them to replace the guilty feeling I have about my capacity to work or contribute in the way I did before.
Potentially they are worth so much more than that, given time and some self forgiveness for being human.
Continuing to use this space in a positive way and engaging in positive pursuits such as this initiative help me through each day, and towards my goal of contributing to a life lived in full.
Thank you to each and every person who has encouraged me to keep posting. You have played a role in guiding me towards the confident path I am now on, in which I believe I have almost found a way to again give back to the world.
I spent a long time in the health profession.
Holding someone else's hope when they couldn't and cherishing it, then handing it back to them with worth gave me so much satisfaction everyday.
This is the feeling you too can have and one I'd like to foster here, and is Cabe's vision too.
We can use this space to nurture each others pursuits and dreams. Truly engage in a gifting mentality that is about the secondary gains you receive from the gift economy, by giving without receiving. We can create something of great worth in many aspects. It doesn't always have to be a gift of funds or a snail mail correspondence, but I do recommend those, even in small doses they are potent.
Make a meaningful comment on a post. Take the time to connect with a like minded person or respectfully with a tangential minded person. Bring humanity to the platform and you will feel the humanity.
Thank you.
