Share some knowledge with all Tasteemians , in Singapore Malaysia we always refer take away as tapao/tabao, as the influence of Singlish /Manglish which intergrate the Mandarin into our daily use communication English.
As some of you may aware, In singpaore , there is a lot of hawker centers which gather all food vendors of different food type under one roof. You can easily get tasty and affordable nice food in hawker center , but there's one big problem with hawker center, that is it always crowded especially in older housing estates and during weekend.
Solution? Just take away the food and have it at home , if any nice food stall is identified!
Today I would like to introduce this stall selling economic noodle and rice, aside from tasty food, the price is cheap.
Do you feel difficult to choose with so many choices of noodles and food ?
For instance, this pack of kway teow, added with fried long bean & carbage, only S$2.20.
This pack of white fried meehun, added with fried egg and fried toufu, cost only S$2.50.
As such, this stall has been my favourite take away food stall during weekend. Though I can't have it at the hawker center, bring back and eat also worth the value, with self made tea or coffee for a good start of weekend !
