Our group has a luncheon the first Thursday of every month at a different location. Today's location was The LakeHouse at Buffalo Park. It's an older building that has been remodeled and sits on a small lake with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the scenery.
The inside is part dance hall and part restaurant. They have live music 3 times a week and a nice wood dance floor. I've been here for dancing as well as dining.
The owners are very accomodating. They normally don't open until 4:00pm on Mon - Thurs but they agreed to open up today (Thurs.) at 11:00am just to host our group for lunch.

The taco salad was served in a fried taco bowl with a generous portion of meat and placed in a large serving bowl, which made it very easy to eat with spilling it everywhere!
Annie had the buffalo chicken quesadilla, which was a special that wasn't listed on the menu. She said it had just the right amount of heat. And the side order of onion rings were light and crispy.
Debbie had the club sandwich and you can see that it was piled high with meat and toppings.
Marylynne got a side salad with her order and it was almost filling enough to be the meal. She highly recommends the house made balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
Here was a list of the desserts offered today, but none of us had room to order any unfortunately.
The food was good and the service was excellent, especially for such a large group. My recommendation is to come for a meal and stay for the dance!
