Recently I visited a vegetarian restaurant which’s located at Bukit Indah, Johor Bahru. Today I would like introduce you the vegetarian food that I had tried in this restaurant.
The restaurant is called Pure Minded Vegetarian Café which is located in Bukit Indah, Johor Bahru.
The interior of restaurant is very clean, simple and tidy. It is classical and modern design aesthetic.
It should be a good place for enjoying tea and quiet reading the books.
They are selling mix vegetarian rice as well. There are variety of vegetarian dishes are served. Below the menu and food introduction:
There are many choices for western food such as Tomato Pasta, Creamy White Sauce Pasta, Bake Vege Rolls, Vege Black Pepper Lamp Chop.
Selected vegetables and mushroom such as Homemade Taro Circle, Mushroom Miso with Eggplant, Stewed Bitter Gourd with Mushroom, Dried Chili Abalone Mushroom, Dried Curry Abalone Mushroom, etc.
There are many choices of beancurd, such as Enoki Braised Mushroom, Signature Source Beancurd, Claypot Beancurd, Vegetable Beancurd and Nyonya Sour.
Let’s see what we had ordered:
Claypot Mushroom Rice砂锅香菇饭 with cost RM10.90. The mushroom was tender with vegetarian oyster sauce.
But compare to other vegetarian restaurant, the claypot rice added more ingredient. So if they can add in more vegetables, it will be better.
The next order was Dried Chili Lion Mane Mushroom with white rice 宫保猴头菇饭with cost RM12.90. The taste so so only, maybe because of the dishes didn’t serve in hot.
Sweet and Sour Abalone Mushroom with white rice 酸甜名片饭 with cost RM10.90. The Abalone Mushroom was cripsy outer and tender inner, yummy!
Stirred fried sweet potato leaves 南乳番薯叶苗RM12.00. I love it and enjoy it with white rice.
Do you hear about Tzuchi? It is a Buddhist Compassion Relief Foundation. This restaurant is selling vegetarian food and all products from Tzuchi.
