Hello dear Steemians,
Have you ever try Thai Vegetarian cuisine? Recently, I passed by a Vegetarian Restaurant near Bugis in Singapore. The signboard shown Thai Vegetarian cuisine was so impressive and eye-catching. Therefore, I and my working colleagues decided to try this Thai Vegetarian Cuisine after a project meeting.
The restaurant is called Pepper Jade which is located in Sunshine Plaza near Bugis area.
The environment of restaurant is quite gorgeous. The main entrance has a bright crystal light, with grand furniture and seating.
The restaurant interior design using many abstract design of wall painting. It looks artistic and creative.
Above the new introduce Thai menu such as Thai mixed mushroom soup, Fried Korat Noodles, Thai Boat Noodles Soup, Green Curry Fried Rice, Stir-fried Monkey Head Mushroom with Black Pepper on Hot Plate, etc.
Let’s take a look the menu. The vegetables such as Stir-fried Asparagus, Stir-fried Five Season with Oyster Sauce, Stir-fried Brocollii, etc.
The Main course such as Mini Yam Ring with Fruit Salad, Son-in-law Egg (vegan), Deep Fried Chicken wrapped in Pandan (vegan), Stir-fried sambal prawn (vegan), etc.
The salad and other side dishes such as Green Papaya Salad, King Mushroom with Golden Pumpkin Sauce, Veggie Lover Spring Rolls, and Fresh Vietnamese Spring Rolls, etc.
Let’s see below what we had ordered:
Thai mixed mushroom Tom yam soup with price S$14.00. There are few types of mushroom inside in soup such as Abalone mushroom, Enoki mushroom, White Shimeji mushroom, lemon grass, chili padi, lemon leaves, parsley, etc. The ingredients are fresh.
The Tomyum soup was so appetising and bit spicy. Luckily I reminded the staff to reduce the spiciness level when I was ordering the food. So it is still acceptable.
Our next order was Son-in-law Eggs with price S$16.00. The so called ‘Eggs’ was made from Yam and Pumpkin ingredients. The yellow part looks like egg yolk right? In fact it was pumpkin.
The added topping, mushroom silks, sesame and special made Thai chili sauce. The deep fried outer is crispy with inner yam and pumpkin ingredients. It was so fresh and appertising with added topping. Yummy!
Our last order was Stir-fried Nai Bai with price S$8.00. The portion is big, and it was served in a big plate.
Besides the Nai Bai vegetables, they added some Shimeji mushroom and stir-fried with vegetarian oyster sauce.
The restaurant environment is beautiful and comfortable but the overall food price is bit higher compared to other vegetarian restaurants. It is suitable for birthday celebration and gathering dinner, party as well.
I hope more people take vegetarian food because it is benefits to our health, lower risk of weight gain and heart diseases and good for digestion towards a more balanced diet.
LOVE VEGAN, LOVE EARTH!
