When I was in San Francisco, California over the summer I went to Dim Sum Corner for an afternoon snack with @nicollefiallo. San Francisco is known for having some of the best food in the country, with lots of Asian fusion style cuisine. @nicollefiallo and I decided to visit San Francisco's Chinatown District to see what it's all about. We stopped by Dim Sum Corner after a bit of shopping. Dim Sum is a small Chinese dish of steamed or fried dumplings.

XLB Classic Trio

We decided to try a few things on the menu. In the picture below, you can see the XLB Classic Trio which consisted of three different dumplings, one with Beef, one with Pork and one with Chicken. I'm not quite sure which was which, but they were all delicious. I washed it down with a Honey Jasmine Green Tea with Aloe, as seen in the photo above. It was a refreshing drink on a hot summer day.

BBQ Pork Bao

Next we had some BBQ Pork Bao Buns, as seen in the picture below. It came with two. These soft doughy buns were delightful. The BBQ Pork was flavored with a bit of spice which gave it a nice taste. Overall, these were probably my favorite part of the Dim Sum Corner experience.

Sugar Puffs

Last but not least, we ordered some Sugar Puffs to top off our meal. It came with four pieces of fluffy fried dough dusted with sugar. They were warm, airy and sweet. A delicious and light dessert before heading out for a day in San Francisco.

Overall the Dim Sum Corner was a great spot to stop and grab a few quick dishes. The quality of the food was good and the service was fast. I recommend stopping in for a snack if you find yourself walking through San Francisco's Chinatown.
