Their Motto - Affordable sizzling sensations to satisfy your cravings!

I have never tried this restaurant before, been passing through it many times. Finally, due to @roselifecoach need to gain protein and craving for lamb, since they can customise the way you want your meat done, we choose to give this place a try.

This was located inside Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, at lower ground floor, the staffs were very attending when we were looking at the menu outside, deciding to dine here or not, they immediately introduced their house specials and finally able to convince us to give it a try, apart from Rose wanting to eat lamb! Lol...

It seems like, NY Steak Shack is inspired by NY City fast-casual restaurant concept, to satisfy your cravings for their Steaks, Burgers and Shakes at an affordable price. Most of their menu comes in sizzling plates, which is quite unique, as usually, steaks are grilled in most places. They have quite a variety of choices, steaks from beef, lamb, chicken and seafood. Some platters are good for sharing because they are generous with their portions.

Let's look at all the food we ordered.

Sizzling Lamb Leg - RM39.80 (USD 9.53)

First we have Sizzling Lamb Leg, by Rose. Marinated lamb leg, grilled according to your choices, served with 2 side dishes and sauce. We skipped the sauce, ordered mixed vegetable and corn on the cob. The lamb was chewy and not easy to cut, but the 2 side dishes were delicious, especially the corn, very juicy!

Smokehouse Beef Burger - RM32.80 (USD 7.86)

Secondly we have Smokehouse Beef Burger. Chargrilled beef patty, topped with cheddar cheese and sauteed beef, with caramelised onions and fries. I ordered medium well done, and I loved the whole thing, the sauteed beef on top was juicy and tender, I enjoy that more than the beef patty, hahaha...

Sriracha Chicken Wings - RM18.80 (USD 4.50)

Third one was Sriracha Chicken Wings, ordered by our friend. It's batter-fried Chicken Wings glazed with Sriracha sauce. Luckily they separated the Sriracha sauce because it freaking spicy!! The wings were quite big, ended up she can't finish it and needed to pack for takeaway.

Overall, we enjoy the food and the environment, it was clean and tidy, staffs were very attending. After coming out at least the clothes don't smell like you just came out from a sizzling smokehouse, I'm satisfied. I would recommend if you wanted to try with family, the platters are good for a small family.
