When we had no electricity my grandparents invited me to eat out, I was very fortunate to eat in this place called Baguio Country Club. This place is actually a hotel and is exclusive to members and their guests. This was established last 1905.
Whenever I go here, I find this place to be so fancy, with the style of their place and how huge it is.
When you dine in here, you can stay at their veranda that is overlooking the golf course. One thing that I love about this place was that it was very peaceful.
I was able to snap a photo of their bar
Here's the menu of this place.
They have a lot of varieties of food from Appetizers, Soup, Salads, Hearty Plates, Grills, Filipino Favorites, Pizza, Pasta, Sandwiches, Kiddie Plates, Sweet Finales, Ice Cream treats, fresh fruits, Filipino Merienda.
They also have a Chinese menu. I heard that their chef actually trained in China.
They have the Pine Grill, when I saw this menu, my jaws dropped from the prices that were stated here.
Here are the different beverages that they serve in this place. They have both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
They have the Chef's special if you don't know what to decide.
These are my grandparents, as you can see my grandpa has beer with him haha.
Before they served the main course, They give free appetizers of bread, if you're really hungry you just can order these because it comes for free.
My grandparents ordered Calamares for our appetizer. The texture of it was good and it tasted delicious and the dip even made taste better.
My mom ordered their tuna sandwich which comes with their potato chips.
My grandma ordered Chef's salad.
My grandpa ordered the Roast beef sandwich(Though I wasn't able to take a clear photo of it.
I ordered the Lechon Kawali which is deep fried pork belly and it came with lechon sauce
My sister and my mom divided in this order. They ordered the Crispy noodles with chopsuey.
This is their house blend iced tea. They served it with a paper straw.
The lechon kawali that I ordered looked perfect but as soon as I bit it, it was so dry. But kudos to them for making the skin crispy. The crispy noodles serving was humongous. It actually tasted good, we even had to take it home because we were not able to finish it. My dining experience was fun. But my grandpa had one complain, he has that the food there was degrading when he was comparing it to a few years back.
