Welcome to The Man Cave
Yes you heard it right! It is called The Man Cave for a reason but before I continue to share with you this awesome new 2 week old community that I'm in, I would like to state that this social community is open to all genders and is not narrowed in to only males. In fact, we appreciate women who are looking to just socialize/contribute in the community and a women's perspective of things for men is also a very important thing. At the end of the day, this world doesn't just consist of men.
What Do We Do?
For starters, we are open to everyone! We are a social community in efforts to empower men. Where men can just come in and be themselves.
Why don't we focus on women as well? Well, first of all, maybe because we are not women and also mainly because when we focus and pinpoint a specific niche more deeply, there is where you'll find growth and hidden gems. We do also allow women as I've mentioned earlier because we really appreciate everyone who wants to be part of this community and share their thoughts and values. Every contribution is valuable to us.
In The Man Cave, we would have many channels that encourage growth and participation. There are already several members in the community contributing their specific skillsets like fishing, cooking and many more. But if you're looking just to chill and relax, kick your feet up with a pint of beer, by all means, we have the lounge, beer, BBQ section and many more where you can indulge yourself in chats.
The main aim is so that men can gather and empower one another.
My Gratitude
It is really my honour and privilege when @raymondspeaks invited me to join this community. I was invited about 3 weeks ago when the community just only started but only came into it 2 weeks ago. being swamped with work and all, I missed the invitation link from him previously.
The Man Cave is the brainchild of @raymondspeaks. An amazing, humble and genuine guy I've met on Steemit through the @steemitbloggers community. He runs multiple community projects and owns his own magazine and a team of writers under him. That being said, I know and believe that whatever he puts his hands on, will grow and succeed.
Not long after that, I was stoked because @raymondspeaks invited me to be part of his core development team for the community. I totally agree with him when he said that, 'a community cannot be built alone' and he is right. Over my 8 months time on Steemit, I've experienced and helped build communities over this span and have always encourage that the community be built with a team. I always encourage that the team leverage one another with individual strength covering each other's weaknesses.
Contribute & Earns SBDs
For now, when you level up by engaging in the community channel, you'll receive rewards for being active! These rewards are given out by @raymondspeaks and as we expand our Man Cave Rewardpool we hope to give out more reward/incentives in the future.
As the community is only 3 weeks in, we are constantly looking for Steemians who can contribute in a specific niche. For example, Art, psychology and whatever you think you would want to contribute. When you get into the server, just leave @raymondspeaks or me a DM and we'll get you sorted out. Oh and contributors will get paid when our new coin is launched.
We are planning to hold weekly contests as well and you can definitely earn SBDs from there. In the long run, who knows that we might even have our own talk show and what not.
Our New Coin!
I'm just as excited as you are! Having the backing from the #whaleshares platform, The Man Cave will launch it's own coin under the #whaleshares platform. With this, we are able to reward more and more activities planned out to give out these tokens.
For now, we have only begun building and developing the server, so give us some time till the coin is launch. Then we will definitely plan out a reward system for everyone who contributes, engage, host or for just being awesome. :)
