I have for a long time said that my next laptop/desktop will not be an Apple product for the soul reason that their products are extortionate, i plan to upgrade at some point this year but for now i am using an older Apple MacBook pro from 2010, it does its job but recently the battery gave up the ghost and i had to replace it.

I did not expect a battery to be so difficult to purchase but it actually was, it is due to the fact that these products have a shelf-life and will deplete whether they are being used or not. What also surprised me was the price, but i should have known that the price would be sky high as i am dealing with Apple here, for an original battery some places were asking £150.00 which is outside of my budget, so i eventually found one on Amazon at a reasonable price, it's from a company called Lenoge i decided to go with this product based on the positive reviews and the price of course.
I have been using this product for about 2 days now and i have definitely seen an improvement in battery life, installation was straight forward i did however find that my charger had ghosted too so had to spend another £40 to replace that with a refurbished one, i also replaced the feet on the underside as a few had fallen off as well as some screws.
