Here is today's vlog! Murder Dog and I stayed in New Hampshire the previous day to wait for our friends to return from work. After a few more hours of conversation, and a thoughtfully prepared bag "lunch", we were back on the road. We finally made it back to Long Island in the wee hours of the morning and caught a few hours of sleep in our friend Ty's driveway. In the morning, we met up with the kids for their b-day celebration.
Since the BipTwins had no interest in a party this year, they opted for a shopping spree at their favorite store. They had a lot of fun and we were even able to turn the experience into a bit of an economics lesson. Unschooling for the win! After their adventure and some ice cream cake, we parted ways so that they could go home and explore all their new belongings. It would have been nice to spend more time with them but they were so excited that I couldn't help but oblige their wishes. All in all, though, it was a fantastic time!
Murder Dog and I spent a few more hours relaxing at our friend's house before hitting the road again. We drove down into Virginia until sleepiness started to creep in.. We stopped at a Planet Fitness for the night and got some more sleep. Now that we're up and rolling, it's off to Anarcon 2018! Should prove to be a fun weekend!
