I've had New Zealand on my mind quite a bit of late and not sure why...

I often think to myself that where I live would have the following qualities:

• Lots of beautiful coastline
• Varied topography with rolling hills and mountains
• Cracking summers and equally epic winters (you got to have a bit of both!)
• Accessible areas of outstanding, wildlife and untouched landscapes
• Great outdoor pursuits opportunities and culture... and maybe...
• Volcanoes?

New Zealand fits many of those criteria 😎
I know, I know, it's a lot to expect... and the UK has lots and lots to offer, but I am a geographer and keen traveller and can't we all dream? (or maybe emigrate!)

Thank you NZ for the memories and for being just so damn beautiful. I'll be back soon.
