Now that you already know two of the most beautiful volcanoes in El Salvador, it’s time to make a pause of them and I will take you to another location that you will love.

It’s time to let you know the second largest lake in El Salvador.

Lake Ilopango
This is a crate lake that looks so peaceful but this is a caldera that can erupt anytime. It is located in San Salvador and you can go there by many routes. The most common is to go to Apulo tourist area
