The most beautiful beach I've ever went. Thailand the country that is flourishing with tourists, and this place it's not different. But of curse, if there weren't tourist I would be shocked because this beach it is a must see if you go to Thailand.
Me and my father booked a tour of 4 hours around Maya Bay that it's part of the Phi Phi Islands. It was totally worth it, it was about 15 dollars to go to the beach, snorkeling, and seeing monkeys.
So early in the morning we enter a slow boat with some 10 other people and we go first in the monkey beach.
This islands are the perfect habitat for monkeys, especially when there is tourist around, they live a passive life in these forest rocks, and when they are hungry they go on the beach to feed tourist bananas.
After seeing the monkeys we enter the boat again and went straight to Maya Bay. The way was already splendid, I was in a state of ecstasy and just appreciating the view.
When we arrived at the beach I realize that many people had the same program 😅. But it is not a problem for me, sure there are a lot of people, but you need only to find a good spot, and I found one. I will not tell you where is the best place to stay in this beach because if I tell you that it will be no more. 😉
Look how many people!!
It does not seems a lot but I've made some math. I calculated that there are 3 boats in average come and go every minute in this beach, there are about 10 people in each boat. So there are 30 people per minute entering and going, assuming that they stay one hour: 30x60 = 1800 people per hour!!! And I've decreased some numbers to make it believable
But there are sure some great spots!!
This is another side of the Island, where we did some snorkeling.
It is sure a paradise on earth, I need to thanks Thailand and the people for this marvelous opportunity, and I can say that I will go back, but of course in low season.
