It was a gorgeous day in PDX and I decided I would walk up to the ol' Stone House in Forest Park Oregon. Here are all the shots I took during my hike. Enjoy!
Walking up the trail from the MacLeay Park entrance....

A calm ripple from Balch Creek and the sound of birds chirping...

Old tree stumps hollowed through years of erosion, manages to find life once more...

Often you will see trees that were cut down or toppled over due to landslides...

A small waterfall tucked away as you assend up the trail. I wonder if you could swim in it during the summer...

This tree looks like it was freshly cut recently. Another bridge added to the short creek.

Detail of moss growth on the chopped down tree

_Finally, the Stone House. Or known as the Witch's House. _

Which seems to have a new addition to the main stairway

Yeah, that's not gonna be easy to move.

Oh, a new coat paint!
