Chiang Mai walking market is a must do activity if you visit this northern (second capital) Thai city. I have to admit Chiang Mai was my favorite city in Thailand, as I'm not a huge fan of mega-metropolis like Bangkok.
One of my fondest memories of this city of a hundred temples is wandering around the Sunday walking market at sunset. As twilight descends the temperature drops and the temples are illuminated to a golden sheen. A mirror to reflect the days adventures, a pool of reflection for the journey ahead.
This is also the most pleasant time to simply kick back with a beer and watch the world go by as the temple Acacia rustle with the breath of the dying day.
As some of you may be aware, I plan on finally getting started writing a trilogy of books that have been in the planning stages for nearly a decade. This unfortunately means I can't spend the time I would like to dedicated to steem. I have to focus on achieving what I planned to do with my life when I went to university in 2003-2007. Various things in life have pushed me away from this goal of becoming a successful novelist, but no longer will I allow anything to distract me from this course.
But, I would like to continue to post and contribute to steem while I work on my first novel so I have decided to produce these shorter posts so that I can keep in touch with all the friends I have made here. I hope that everyone understands :-)
