Military Headquarters and Famous Scholar’s Cottage in Seoul

As soon as getting out of the mountain village, there was a large traditional Korean house along the valley surrounded by apartments.

It is said that this building was moved during the colonial rule by Japanese, which was located originally in the main palace Gyoengbokgung of Choson dynasty.

Under the Japanese colonial rule, this military headquarters was move far from the Palace.

As walking down the road from the headquarters, a humble cottage was stood. The owner was very famous Confucianism scholar in Choson dynasty. In this humble house, he had lived for his life long.
He wrote a kind of the encyclopedia when it comes to the world surrounding Choson dynasty in 1614 AD.
