The Spectacular Look of Biosphere Environmental Museum

Good Morning Friends!

Less than a week to go til I leave for Disneyland, woo-hoo!

So many travels I have done yet so little time to share the goodies on Steemit. I have like tons of stories to share, but I just don't know when I will share them. Then months passed by and the stories became too old to share, and new travels happening lol

I love taking pics (and vids) of just about anything I see, I go to, I buy, I eat, and whatnot, and you may have noticed so. It's been a habit since forever. Since the era of Friendster, Multiply, blogspot, etc. So yeah, tons of stories to share, but....one can do so much with one's time in one day, right? lol

One of them stories that I collected and meant to share awhile back was on this museum that has a unique look of geodesic dome, in Montreal, QC, Canada.

This museum is called Biosphere Environmental Museum

It is the ONLY museum in North America that is totally dedicated to the environment in North America. Sounds interesting, hey?

To visit this museum is free of charge for certain age (school age, I believe, but for public, it was not expensive at all, think about $10 for me - not a school age person :P), and it is very educative for young visitors.

You can learn about biodiversity, climate/weather, anything related to the environment (like water and air and sustainable development) with quite a few interactive activities and displays, which school kids could totally find them very informative.

One might find the museum does not have a lot to offer, although I totally enjoyed the 2 times I visited this museum. But I do think there are empty spaces or corners inside the museum, that could totally display more, maybe more computers or interactive tables and whatnot. The museum feels big and a bit empty in some parts.

But the view is amazing from up of the museum (but looking down is not so much lol, gave me vertigo!), looking around Jean Drapeau park, and visitors can take time to relax a the given space....which I also think altho nice, it does feel "spacious" with nothing but a couple of couches, right?

However, imagine the view at night. Under the dome. Would be sooooo wowzer factor! Especially for those who like sky watching and photography enthusiasts.

The museum often have exhibitions, so if you would like to visit this museum, I would like to recommend you to come when those exhibitions are being held at the museum, so one stone, two birds, you know, as you will see more. Again, I enjoyed my visit (I like any sorts of museums, am a museum geek, have posted tons of my museum visits previously), but I know adults that said the museum a bit boring as they found it to not have many to offer, so I think if you come when there are exhibitions, you won't feel like your visit would be such a waste. BUT also, again, if you are a family with young kids, this museum has interesting knowledge to offer for little kids, for sure.

I mean, come on, just by the shape of the museum, it's interesting already, right? ;-)

And if you care and have curiosity much about environment issues, what's happened and happening around you -environment wise, the museum can be an eye opening in a way or two.
