Not only offers a place for recreational purposes, the Jakarta Aquarium also offers a means of education by including information about animals, as well as important information about ecosystems on the walls.

Jakarta Aquarium has received a prestigious award "Indonesia Leading Conservation Destination 2017/18" from ITTA and "Certificate of Excellence 2018" from Tripadvisor.

Ticket

I admit this place is amazing, especially for people who have never experienced an underwater adventure. But the price of the entrance ticket is also quite expensive.

Although fairly expensive, look at these visitors. It's quite long, even though my mother and I arrived at the opening hour, at 10 AM.

You can see ticket prices in the image below.

My Experiences

After successfully buying a ticket, my mother and I entered the Jakarta Aquarium location. Before actually entering a room that is quite dark like really under the sea, there is a photo spot that you should not miss.

I told my mother to pose on the spot. My mother wanted to have good memories of this place, because she said the entrance ticket was expensive.

In our first steps in the Jakarta Aquarium, we saw marine animals under our feet. Look at It feels like it's really in a large marine ecosystem.

In addition to the aquarium area which is located under the visitors' feet, there are aquariums which are placed on the sides and are of low size. Even though it looks reachable, we must not touch the sea animals in this aquarium.

Aquariums are also made with various unique shapes. There are tubes, and visitors can enter the center of the tube so that it looks really under the sea.

There are also aquariums that are laid out like a time passageway, so they seem truly mysterious.

Among the many types of marine animals, I am interested in this type. Jellyfish. It looks like it's been seen, and I feel like it's jellyfish. Beautiful, right?

Visitors to the Jakarta Aquarium can also see fishes gathering for food provided by the officers. It's nice to see a scene like this. It was enough to provide an impressive experience for me and my mother who had never dived under the sea.

Theater Show: Pearl of The South Sea

Before you leave this place, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy amazing theater performances.

Visitors were treated to the theater show "Pearl Of The South Sea". Not just a story about a princess who was cursed to be a mermaid, this show features a variety of stunning underwater dance attractions. The players who have been trained will be together with beautiful fish that naturally participate in attractions for visitors.

This show is good for you to watch, especially if you are watching with family. You will increasingly realize the importance of love and trust in fellow family members. The theater show is suitable for watching for children.

Underwater adventure that is quite memorable at the Jakarta Aquarium. I am happy because I managed to make my mother happy to have enjoyed the trip at the Jakarta Aquarium.
