Hello everyone,
Do you have flea markets in your country?
In this post I’d like to show you the flea market that I visited last week in Osaka. There are usually flea markets every weekend and on public holidays at parks and parking lots. I've heard many people talk about them but I’ve never been to one. This time my friends asked me about the flea market so I searched to find out when and where they are.
This time I took my friends to Oizumi Ryokuchi Park flea market in Osaka. We took the subway Midosuji Line from Namba Station about 25 minutes to Shinkanaoka Station, then walked 20 minutes. Pretty far!! It's worth purchasing the subway 1 day pass for 600 yen when you go.
There are 200 bargain booths with most vendors from the local area, I guess. I saw dogs and kids were also there. Although it was quite hot the atmosphere was energetic. Are you ready to explore a local unique market with us?
At the first booth near the entrance gate, there are many brands of shoes, shirts, and socks such as Adidas, Cross, Reebok, Converse, etc. The quality wasn't bad. Look at that I think I found something. The red shoes, Converse, I bought for 1,000 JPY. Original they're 2,500JPY. (Negotiation is possible.)
Many booths sell kids accessories, clothes and other things.
Don't be shy to negotiate the price, it's fun. And you might be lucky and get something super cheap.
Around closing time prices are discounted a lot. Cheaper than you'd expect.
If you don't mind second-hand things, this flea market is the place to be.
Hours: 10:00-16:00
