You know what I don't understand about liberals these days?
Why is a wall the thing that gets them hot and bothered and talking about all the other things that the money could be used for?
Building a wall is, at worst, pointless.
Whereas other things:
dropping bombs and engaging in war with various countries
sending arms and aid to violent regimes and insurgencies
prison industrial complex and kidnapping harmless drug users
actively cause harm and damage.
(And btw have way more cost.)
Why not be up in arms about these things instead? Why is the wall what you care about?
I feel like once upon a time liberals used to be anti-war and would talk about civil liberties and how wrong it is to jail drug users. Actual things. Now it's like, trying to suggest other people are mildly racist is basically the foundation of their beliefs.
I want to be really clear about this:
behind door A we have something that at worst is pointless and costs a very small amount
behind door B we have various things that are actively destroying lives and costing a shit ton.
And door A is what stands out to them as a problem.
Mindblowing.
Disagree that a wall is at worst pointless?
I'd love to hear who or what exactly gets harmed by it.
If you care about people in other countries who would like to have a better life, then above all else you should want to stop bombing and fucking with them.
If immigration is important, you shouldn't want people to just show up and take the place of deserving applicants who, like you, also think immigration is important, and are attempting to lawfully and officially go through the process and better their lives.
They'll tell you they like multiculturalism, but really they don't. Multiculturalism involves many cultures. Not one culture jumping in line and taking the stead of people from all over the world who may wish to come to America.
They maybe like chaos. Disorder. They like rule breaking and madness. But various cultures sharing the world together and having a mutual respect for each other has nothing to do with illegal border crossing.
I see the Presidents as actors more than anything.
It's hard to say what exactly they're actively responsible for and how much of it is just systematic and what any President would do in their spot right now.
But...
Just taking it on face value: If Trump carries through and pulls out of Syria and other wars as he says he will, he should easily be regarded as the most peaceful, impactful President of our lifetime.
Groundbreaking stuff that actually matters and is wonderful for the world.
And liberals are like OMG A WALL. lol 🤣🤣🤣

p.s. public school teachers are mediocre asf and not actually good at teaching and if your kids aren't engaged by their boring shit they likely will try to drug them up because they're offended.. I can think of a lot better to do with 3 billion dollars, warm and fuzzy as that sounds in your little meme, Ed.
