Last time I told you we arrived in Kimberley in the Northern Cape Province. We are now visiting my mother-in-law, hubby's sister and his son.
In South Africa for breakfast you can either eat porridge or cereal or a traditional English breakfast. The traditional english breakfast is the best and every where we stayed we were treated with such a breakfast.
We are getting spoilt also with other traditional food and everybody knows that nobody's food taste your mothers.
Last night we had Tomato lamb stew, similar to the picture below.

Just now we had Carrot Cake and tea. Her Carrot cake is famous in Kimberley and she baked them on order for other people.
My mother -in-law lives on her own after @Scotty's father died about four years ago. She grew up on a farm and she's been planting her own vegetables since she moved into this house in 1964. She is already 77 and she is a real inspiration to us all, she is almost self-sufficient.
She stays here with her two Jack Russell dogs, a budgie called Pretty Boy and her chickens that lays eggs daily.
She is a very good gardener and has been planting her own vegetables for a very long time. She is very proud of her garden and produce. When she is cooking you can be sure that you will get fresh vegetables from the garden.
When we arrived at her home it's always the first thing that she wants to show us, her vegetable and flower garden.
It is now the beginning of Spring in South Africa there is already a lot of flowers blooming in her garden.
We enjoy walking with her through the garden and looking at all two different flowers.
Flowers always cheers me up and brighten my day!
You can see she has quite a variety of flowers blooming at the moment. Further on we are just visiting and enjoying the company of our loved ones. We also rest a lot as we were working very hard for the past year. This concludes my Ulog for today.
Thank you for reading and looking, wishing you a wonderful day!
