This ulog is a collection of short videos I’ve taken while out hiking in the woods, sometimes singing to the trees. Nature is so important to me—good for the soul.
This first video was a few days ago, when I had freedom to really roam.
And a sad little moment when I got to a place I used to hike years ago, and discovered some of the trees were gone.
The next two videos I took while doing a quick hike the night before, where I couldn’t go as far and sang to keep the bears away.
Sorry that the camera is shaky (my voice is shaky too, ‘cause I’m hiking uphill), but I hope you still enjoy coming along with me and letting me sing to you.
And of course my phone ran out of storage just then, so I do the song in the next one…
My singing is better when I’m not holding a phone, I swear. ;)
Thanks so much for coming along with me!
It feels so good to get into nature, and I really think this is an important element of self-care. For me, singing is part of self-care, too. And moving, of course.
Remember to take care of yourself. Go outside, move your body, drink water, eat good food, sleep. All that good stuff. ;)
Take care of yourself, you are a gift!
Peace. @katrina-ariel
