Utopian Visibility Whitelist

Introduction

My name is Ebixy Ebi Laffin and I have a page on Facebook where I promote open source applications. This is my first time attempting to promote Hearth.net and for this reason, I had to do background research about the service.

One challenging issue was that parts of their website are written in the Czech language even when you select English as the website language. So I had to use a Google translator to translate it into English.

Hearth.net is a generous social network that focuses on quality interpersonal relationships and points to the transformational potential of integrating the principles of the gift economy into everyday life

Choice of target audience and Bidding strategy

The message was targeted at individuals living in the United Kingdom aged 18 - 60 with interest in charity, donation, and philanthropy. I ran the ad for 20 days with a total budget of $20.

At end of the promotion, I didn't meet my goals of 10,000 reach and 2% click-through-rate CTR. Next time I would add more areas of interest to see whether I can reach my goals.
