Introduction and Campaign Strategy

My name is Ebixy Ebi Laffin and I have a page on Facebook where I promote open source applications. In line with my goal to see that the use of technology improves on the African continent, this was another promotion to see that web development takes another turn to make it easier and more accessible to those interested in the field.

Anything to make life easier in programming is always welcomed. Those are the days where each programmer is expected to program from scratch each component of his final piece. That made programming for newcomers difficult and boring. Before they could complete a project, they had to gather a large volume of knowledge to come out with something reasonable. This was mentally demanding and at the same time made a lot of newbies to give up on the field

This ad was not only targeted at those already in the field but included those who had interest in the field. Those who were already in the field could possibly see a newer and better way of doing things.
