Introduction

We are Public Relations manager and our mission is promote open source apps to the world. We decided to help their ads for Kodi TV and analyze consumer behavior trends to promote Kodi.
With the widespread use of technology, people need technology in every aspect of their lives. According to research conducted by research institute Parks Associates, 3% of cable or satellite TV users switched to internet streaming media players in the first quarter of 2018. In addition to watching television programs, watching movies on television, connecting the game consoles to monitors, playing the internet series is a trend today. As a result of this data, the demand for a wide range of media players has increased.More than 70% of owners of streaming media players (SMPs) use their devices at least once a week, more than 59% of smart TV owners. 44% of SMP owners use their devices daily, compared to 37% of smart TV owners. Almost 50% of Smart TV owners have a media player.

Campaign Strategy

According to market analysis, Kodi is in the “other” category of %3 after the prominent brands.

  • Advertising Purpose
    Between 18.11.2018 and 18.03.2019 dates our aim is to remove Kodi from the “other” category in the market and increase the market share to %2.

  • First Goal
    Our target audience is 25 and 40 years old consumers in the province of Denizli where the young people is intense.
