Some of you have been asking us to enable the possibility to get SPPs against tips to SteemPlus as well as delegations.
Our primary focus is to incentivize our users to use third-party services and thus participate in the developement of the Steem ecosystem.
For those willing to acquire SPP faster, it is now possible to acquire SPP directly against STEEM or SBD.
Buy SPP
For this, follow this few steps :
- Navigate to your Wallet
- Open the SteemPlus Points dropdown
- Select Buy SPP
- On the popup, you can select your method : 1 SBD = 100 SPP / 1 STEEM = 100 SPP * STEEMprice/SBDprice
- Confirm the transaction on SteemConnect
- Wait up to 10 minutes to see your new SPP in your wallet
- Earn bigger upvotes from @steem-plus or spend the SPPs on Premium features
What are SPP ?
SteemPlus Points are utility tokens that will grant you a vote from @steem-plus according to your SPP stakes.
In the future, they will also be redeemable for premium features.

Delegation is the only way to earn SPP on this graphic that has not been implementend yet. However, you can already start delegating to @steem-plus, and your SPPs will be added once the feature is ready.

Installation and updates
You can download and install SteemPlus directly from the Chrome Store if you are using Chrome or Firefox(follow this link for Chrome, this one for Firefox ).
For installation procedures on Opera, please check our documentation.
Updates shouls occur automatically. If not, click right on the extension logo > Manage my extensions > Update.
