ReactOS is a free and open-sourced operating system based on the Windows NT architecture, it provides support for the applications that already exists, and an alternative to the current operating systems that dominates the market.

It is true that ReactOS current usage is mostly designed for programmers to expand and improve on. however, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to use it, and in its final state will be a consumer friendly Operating System. If you've used Windows before, you'll find yourself in a familiar environment with ReactOS.

This is my sixth contribution to the ReactOS project.

To avoid the mistakes I made in the last contribution, which was inattentional, I took more time to perfect this one. The method that I adopted was that I divided my work into several parts each containing 10 suggestions, translated the 10, checked the translations and re-checked them one last time before saving, to ensure in the end a good quality translation.

Certainly this method has allowed me to produce a clean and correct translation, but also required a long search for the meaning of its terms to choose the accurate translation.

As I said earlier, I had to do some research to understand the context of the sentences and to determine the correct translation of each term. Here are some:

Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP)

WEP is a security protocol designed to provide a wireless local area network (WLAN) with a level of security and privacy comparable to what is usually expected of a wired LAN.
A wired local area network (LAN) is generally protected by physical security mechanisms that are effective for a controlled physical environment, but may be ineffective for WLANs because radio waves are not necessarily bound by the walls containing the network.

Ad-hoc

An ad-hoc network is a local area network (LAN) that is built spontaneously as devices connect. Instead of relying on a base station to coordinate the flow of messages to each node in the network, the individual network nodes forward packets to and from each other.

Received signal strength indication (RSSI)

RSSI is a measurement of how well your device can hear a signal from an access point or router. It’s a value that is useful for determining if you have enough signal to get a good wireless connection.
