Bom dia Steemians, tudo bem?
No post de hoje irei falar sobre um assunto totalmente diferente do que eu estou acostumado a falar. Irei falar sobre gatos.
Eu não sou uma pessoa muito ligada a gatos e nunca tive um gato como um pet, mas acho o comportamento deles interessante.
Especialmente quando eles entram em contato com uma planta chamada Nepeta cataria, também conhecida como a erva do gato ou Catnip.
Os gatos ao entrarem em contato com essa planta (seja por inalação, por contato ou até mesmo comendo a mesma) exibem comportamentos estranhos... como se estivessem loucos. Uns ficam chapados como se houvessem fumado maconha e outros ficam elétricos.
Até hoje os cientistas não entraram em consenso do porque os gatos ficam tão fascinados (e até mesmo viciados) por essa planta, mas especula-se que a substancia nepetalactone pode ser a causadora dessa "brisa" nos bichanos. Os animais parecem ficar hipnotizados ao entrarem em contato com essa erva e ate mesmo ficam babando ao comerem a mesma.

Good morning Steemians, how do you do?
In today's post I will talk about a totally different subject than what I am accustomed to talking about. I'll talk about cats.
I am not a person very attached to cats and have never had a cat as a pet, but I find their behavior interesting.
Especially when they come into contact with a plant called Nepeta cataria, also known as Cat's Herb or Catnip.
Cats coming into contact with this plant (whether by inhalation, contact, or even eating) exhibit strange behaviors ... as if they were crazy. Some get stoned as if they've smoked marijuana and some get electric.
So far scientists have not come to a consensus as to why cats are so fascinated (and even addicted) by this plant, but it is speculated that the substance nepetalactone can be the cause of this "breeze" in pussies. The animals seem to be hypnotized when they come in contact with this herb and even drool when they eat it.
