On my #WednesdayWalk today, I took only my macro lens with me.
Usually I have at least one additional lens with me, or sometimes even the whole photo backpack.
But today I only wanted to make macros, and not carry so much in the heat with me.

Bei meinem heutigen Spaziergang habe ich nur mein Makroobjektiv mitgenommen.
Sonst habe ich immer mindestens ein weiteres Objektiv dabei, oder auch den ganzen Fotorucksack.
Aber heute wollte ich nur Makros machen, und bei der Hitze nicht so viel mit mir herumschleppen.

It starts today with the Common Scorpion Fly (Panorpa communis), a female specimen that lacks the genital segment at the end of the abdomen, which looks like the sting of a scorpion (see Wikipedia link after the photos).

Den Anfang macht heute die Gemeine Skorpionsfliege, undzwar ein weibliches Exemplar, bei welchem das Genitalsegment am Ende des Hinterleibes fehlt, das wie der Stachel eines Skorpions ausschaut (siehe Wikipedia - Link nach den Fotos).

Incidentally, the common scorpion fly was the "insect of the year 2018" in Germany.

Die Gemeine Skorpionsfliege war übrigens das "Insekt des Jahres 2018" in Deutschland.
