Greetings, Vibes people! So nice to be able to virtually meet with you as part of week 15 of this music contest. I'm happy to share my entry today.

Although it's not my favorite genre, since I'm more into pop, rock and ballads, tropical rhythms are part of the musical culture of my country and today I wanted to bring an instrumental cover of the salsa genre and get out of my comfort zone a little bit.

In this instrumental cover I play bass, congas, bongos and bell. It is the song Puerto de la Paz, from the album Levántate Ya, published in 1993 by the American singer of Latin origin José "Papo" Rivera. This song has a beautiful message that makes us want to get closer to God. I recommend using headphones to better capture the low tones of the bass.

Aunque no es mi género favorito, ya que soy más de pop, rock y baladas, los ritmos tropicales son partes de la cultura musical de mi país y hoy quise traer un cover instrumental del género de salsa y así salir un poco de mi zona de confort.

En este cover instrumental toco el bajo, las congas, bongos y campana. Se trata de la canción Puerto de la Paz, perteneciente al álbum Levántate Ya, publicado en el año 1993 por el cantante estadounidense de origen latino José "Papo" Rivera. Esta canción tiene un hermoso mensaje que nos hace querer acercarnos a Dios. Recomiendo usar audífonos para captar mejor los tonos graves del bajo.
