Personally, I don't think so. The drop shipping niche is dominated by a tonne of people trying to create that semi passive income that sounds incredibly sexy.

Drop shipping today is very different from what it once was. Basically, these days, you advertise products that can be found on AliExpress on a Shopify store or similar and then as these items are bought at massively overpriced rates from your store you then purchase the items and have them sent directly to the person via the AliExpress sellers warehouse.

The business model is sound, but it is questionable both ethically and in terms of what you can expect to make.

I've tried it, it's hard work and the sales you receive are likely to be low and the profit margin isn't great. The business model needs massive volumes of sales to be worth it. And those massive volumes of sales are going to be hard to gain, without a massive advertising budget.

The only time I would give it a shot again is if the product I was selling was hard to find but in huge demand, and the profit margins were big. Then the model would work. But otherwise I suggest you avoid it at all costs.
