There is a moment that changes everything. It's not the big bang or the final failure. It's the quiet realization that you are broken. Not like a glass that shatters into a thousand pieces, but like an old book whose pages have been turned so often they start to dissolve. It's the exhaustion that can't be healed with sleep because it sits deeper than just in the body. It’s the fatigue, the constant fight against lies shouted in your face and against signs that repeatedly make it clear that in the end, no one is there when you truly need them. It's the point where you no longer wait for an echo because you know that silence is the only honest answer.

You tried. Over and over. You carefully put your thoughts into words, presenting them with the hope that they would be heard. But your voice faded, a drop on the hot stone of a world that only wants to hear its own noise. You learned that sometimes it is better to be silent. Not out of weakness, but out of pure self-preservation. Talking becomes an effort that costs more energy than it gives back. In this silence, you find a new kind of peace—a painful but honest peace. It’s the moment you stop talking because you are not being heard, and instead, you begin to feel for yourself.

In the void that the silence leaves behind, you make a decision. It is the decision to be alone. You don't embrace the loneliness because you love it, but because it doesn't hurt you. The strength to know who you are when no one is watching. The strength to know your own truth when the world only tells lies. You are alone, but you are not lost. You are broken, but not shattered. And in this quiet realization lies the only kind of peace you have left.
