_¡Feliz día! Hace un tiempo que no pasaba por acá pero hoy sentí las ganas de compartir con ustedes nuevamente, hace unos días fui a un circo donde presentaron un show musical de la película **Coco**, luego de verlo quedé con una duda porque no recordaba con claridad lo que sucedía en la película así que ayer vi **Coco** (por tercera vez) y quedé pensando en muchas cosas que en las veces anteriores no había visto (o al menos no de esta forma), así que pensando un poco en lo que la película refleja me hizo reflexionar sobre ciertas cosas que hoy les quiero compartir, no les digo que este sea con exactitud el mensaje que transmite la película pero si es la forma en la que yo lo pude ver, aquí se las comparto._

_¡Happy day! It's been a while since I've been here but today I felt like sharing with you again, a few days ago I went to a circus where they presented a musical show from the movie **Coco**, after seeing it I was left with a doubt because I didn't remember clearly what was happening in the movie, so yesterday I saw **Coco** (for the third time) and I was thinking about many things that I hadn't seen in the previous times (or at least not in this way), so thinking a Little in what the film reflects made me reflect on certain things that I want to share with you today, I am not telling you that this is exactly the message that the film conveys, but if it is the way in which I could see it, I share them here._

_Una de las cosas que no recordaba era quien era realmente **Ernesto de la Cruz**, pero luego de ver nuevamente la película me ha quedado más que claro, lo que me hizo pensar en cómo toda una familia de varias generaciones pasó su vida con falsas ideas por un malentendido, lo que los llevó a odiar rotundamente la música y negarla como si de un vicio o mal ejemplo se tratara, que difícil debió haber sido para todos los miembros de las siguientes generaciones de **Mamá Coco** el hecho de tener que odiar algo que está en todas partes y que es inevitable no desarrollar un gusto por ello, aún más en México, donde la música es parte fundamental de su cultura._

_One of the things I didn't remember was who **Ernesto de la Cruz** really was, but after seeing the movie again it became more than clear to me, which made me think about how a whole family of several generations spent their lives with false ideas due to a misunderstanding, which led them to outright hate music and deny it as if it were a vice or a bad example, how difficult it must have been for all the members of the following generations of **Mamá Coco** fact of having to hate something that is everywhere and that it is inevitable not to develop a taste for it, even more so in Mexico, where music is a fundamental part of its culture._

_Parte de la confusión se debe al momento en el que **Miguel** descubre quien era el padre de su **Mamá Coco**, creyendo que este era el famoso **Ernesto de la Cruz** pero todos estaban tan segados por el odio irracional a la música que simplemente lo omitieron._

_Part of the confusion is due to the moment in which **Miguel** discovers who his **Mama Coco**'s father was, believing that this was the famous **Ernesto de la Cruz** but everyone was so blinded by the irrational hatred of music that they simply omitted._

_Es increíble lo egoístas que pueden ser las familias al no apoyar tus sueños sin importar lo mucho que te guste ni cuanto te apasione, apoyándose con la excusa de “proteger” a esa persona, pero, si lo pensamos bien más era el daño que le hacían a **Miguel** al negarle algo que le gustaba y que en cierta forma llevaba en su sangre por más que no lo quisieran aceptar, hay cosas en la vida que no se pueden negar y cuando algo realmente es para nosotros llegará de una forma u otra, en el momento menos esperado, tal como le pasó a **Miguel** que luego de tanto años ocultando su pasión por la música finalmente su familia lo entendió y lo aceptó._

_It is incredible how selfish families can be by not supporting your dreams no matter how much you like them or how passionate you are, supporting yourself with the excuse of "protecting" that person, but, if we think about it, the damage was more they did **Miguel** by denying him something that he liked and that in a certain way he carried in his blood no matter how much they did not want to accept it, there are things in life that cannot be denied and when something really is for us it will come in a one way or another, at the least expected moment, just as it happened to **Miguel** who, after so many years hiding his passion for music, finally his family understood and accepted him._

_De no ser por **Miguel** y su amor a la música no se habría descubierto la verdad de toda la historia, comenzando con que su verdadero tatarabuelo era **Héctor** y no **Ernesto de la Cruz** como pensaba, descubrió que fue lo que realmente le sucedió, cosa que ni siquiera **Mamá Imelda** sabía, por lo que pasó toda su vida odiándolo y aun así fracasaron sus intentos por hacer que **Coco** también lo hiciera._

_If it hadn't been for **Miguel** and his love of music, the truth of the whole story would not have been discovered, beginning with the fact that his true great-great-grandfather was **Héctor** and not **Ernesto de la Cruz** as he thought , found out what really happened to him, which not even **Mama Imelda** knew, so he spent his whole life hating him and still failed his attempts to make **Coco** do it too._

_Héctor siempre fue una víctima de la ambición de **Ernesto de la Cruz**, lo que le costó la vida y con ello perder a su familia a quien amaba, incluso muchos años después de muerto fue odiado por su familia excepto por **Coco**, la única que aún tenía un rastro de su recuerdo manteniendo con ello a **Héctor** en la tierra de los muertos, pasaron años tratando de eliminar cualquier rastro de **Héctor**, sin siquiera mencionar su nombre, sin colocar su foto en la ofrenda del día de los muertos, y la forma más absurda, eliminando la música de su vida._

_Héctor was always a victim of the ambition of **Ernesto de la Cruz**, which cost him his life and with it he lost his family whom he loved, even many years after his death he was hated by his family except for **Coco**, the only one who still had a trace of his memory keeping **Hector** in the land of the dead, spent years trying to eliminate any trace of **Hector**, without even mentioning his name, without placing his photo in the offering on the day of the dead, and in the most absurd way, eliminating music from his life._

_**Miguel** descubrió toda la verdad y le devolvió a su familia lo que insistían en seguir evitando, la música, finalmente la aceptaron en su vida así como el hecho de que de eso estaba hecho **Miguel**, fueron más felices que nunca a pesar de que **Mamá Coco** ya no estaba, sin embargo, tenían la certeza de que se encontraba en un lugar mejor donde finalmente se había reunido con su padre, a quien nunca olvido durante todos esos años._

_**Miguel** discovered the whole truth and gave back to his family what they insisted on avoiding, music, they finally accepted it into their lives as well as the fact that **Miguel** was made of, were more happy than ever despite the fact that **Mamá Coco** was gone, however, they were certain that she was in a better place where she had finally reunited with her father, whom she never forgot during all those years._

_Puede que **Héctor** haya estado algo ausente en la vida de la pequeña **Coco** pero podemos estar seguros de que en ese corto tiempo que estuvo presente fue un gran padre, a pesar de los intentos de **Mamá Imelda** **Coco** seguía recordando a su padre y además con mucho cariño, lo mantuvo en sus recuerdos hasta su ultimo día en la tierra y eso deja mucho que pensar, pues, hay padres que están presentes durante toda la vida de sus hijos y no se ganan ese cariño solo por ser padres, no basta con estar presentes, es más importante el amor y la calidad de este que estar allí sin hacer nada._

_**Héctor** may have been somewhat absent in the life of little **Coco** but we can be sure that in that short time he was present he was a great father, despite the attempts of **Mama Imelda** **Coco** kept remembering her father and also with great affection, she kept him in her memories until her last day on earth and that leaves a lot to think about, well, there are parents who are present throughout the lives of their children. children and they do not earn that affection just by being parents, it is not enough to be present, love and its quality is more important than being there without doing anything._

_La vida a veces es injusta y es por eso que existen casos como el de **Héctor**, o más bien el de toda la familia **Rivera**que pasaron toda su vida y varias generaciones odiando a quien realmente fue una víctima de todas las circunstancias y negando lo inevitable. Ver esta película nuevamente me dejó pensando en todas estas cosas y hasta me hizo sentir algo de lástima, confieso que viendo películas soy muy sentimental y **Coco** no fue la excepción._

_Life is sometimes unfair and that is why there are cases like that of **Héctor**, or rather that of the entire **Rivera** family who spent their entire lives and several generations hating who really was a victim of all circumstances and denying the inevitable. Watching this movie again left me thinking about all these things and even made me feel a little sorry, I confess that watching movies I am very sentimental and **Coco** was no exception._
