Every year there's this big food fair in my home-town of Leuven, almost every restaurant in town sets up their own stand, where they offer cheap small dishes, which cost between €2 and €8. This was my third time attending this awesome food fair and for me, it was the best edition yet! As usual, there was quite a crowd, but despite that everything seemed to go a lot smoother compared to previous years. For example, this time I wasn't standing still for more than 2 seconds while I was walking through the narrow corridors of the Muntstraat (a narrow street in Leuven). I actually didn't eat that much, since it was quite hot outside, I do not tend to be that hungry when it's around 30°C (86°F). Still, the things I did eat were absolutely delicious! I know what you're thinking: "Port in a cocktail?!?". Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking at first, especially because it was so hot outside, but it was really great and refreshing to be honest. We also had a small portion of fish&chips, I'm sure that the Brits would do it a lot better than this, but it was still pretty nice. Too bad those *chips* were anything but original, I was definitely missing the vinegary taste. Still pretty good though! Those other dishes were basically the same dishes we had last year. Yeah I know, I'm definitely a creature of habit... Did try *some* new things though ;-)
