Hola comunidad de Sketchbook, espero que estén hoy les traigo un post algo diferente, y les voy hablar de un método muy conocido a nivel mundial por dibujantes e ilustradores y es el método de Loomis. Cuando descubrí hace 8 años que existían métodos para hacer retratos y entre esos estaba el método de Loomis, me sorprendió con lo simple con lo que se puede realizar una cabeza o un rostro a partir de unas figuras básicas, el método del que les hablo y que seguro ya algunos conoceran es el el método del círculo y la cruz. Éste método nos permite definir en que lugar se encuentran las partes del rostro. Para poder utilizar el método es importante entender que cada persona tiene proporciones diferentes y que ésto nos permitirá obtener una base para poder realizar nuestro dibujo. When I discovered 8 years ago that there were methods to make portraits and among those was the Loomis method, I was surprised with how simple you can make a head or a face from some basic figures, the method I'm talking about and that surely some of you already know is the method of the circle and the cross. This method allows us to define where the parts of the face are located. To be able to use the method it is important to understand that each person has different proportions and that this will allow us to obtain a base to be able to make our drawing.
