Это моё второе путешествие в регион Кавказских минеральных вод. В 2022 году мы с друзьями были в Пятигорске. Один из дней тогда мы посвятили поездке в горы, где видели мощные впечатляющие водопады. Однако множество людей, которые тоже отдыхали в этом регионе спрашивали, видели ли мы Медовые водопады?	This is my second trip to the Caucasian Mineral Waters region. In 2022, my friends and I were in Pyatigorsk. We spent one of the days then on a trip to the mountains, where we saw powerful impressive waterfalls. However, many people who also vacationed in this region asked if we had seen the Honey Waterfalls?
И вот в 2024 году, приехав в Кисловодск, мы, конечно, запланировали поездку к этой популярной природной достопримечательности.	And so in 2024, having arrived in Kislovodsk, we, of course, planned a trip to this popular natural attraction.
Медовые водопады находятся в 20 км от Кисловодска, около них расположена турбаза, кафе, небольшой музей. Туда приезжает множество экскурсий.	Honey Waterfalls are located 20 km from Kislovodsk, near them there is a tourist center, a cafe, a small museum. Many excursions come there.
Это большой медовый водопад. Неширокая струя воды падает с высоты 18 м. Мы спустились в ущелье и любовались водопадом оттуда.	This is a large honey waterfall. A narrow stream of water falls from a height of 18 m. We went down into the gorge and admired the waterfall from there.

Медовыми эти водопады назвали, так как когда-то здесь жили в скальных пещерках дикие пчелы. Порой в непогоду дождями вымывались соты и вода становилась сладковатой. В одну из аномально суровых зим пчелы погибли, и сейчас их тут не встретишь. Но название осталось.

These waterfalls were called Honey, because wild bees once lived here in rock caves. Sometimes in bad weather the honeycombs were washed out by rain and the water became sweetish. In one of the abnormally harsh winters the bees died, and now you will not meet them here. But the name remained.

Скалы, с которых падает вода очень живописны, много каменных складок и пещер.

The rocks from which the water falls are very picturesque, with many stone folds and caves.

Еще один из серии Медовых водопадов – Жемчужный. Он невысокий, но пошире и мощнее Большого. Вода в нём пенится и бурлит, придавая всему водопаду жемчужный цвет.

Another one of the Honey Waterfalls is the Pearl. It is not high, but wider and more powerful than the Big. The water in it foams and bubbles, giving the whole waterfall a pearl color.
