As a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, I have lived on a farm, in the desert, in the city, at the beach, and on the edge of a rainforest - all within the borders of Washington State. I read my first chapter book when I was 5 and received my first camera at age 10 from my grandmother. Now, as a grandmother myself, I have not stopped exploring the world through the eye of my camera and the books I read and share. As a photographer, storyteller, retired teacher/librarian, YouTuber, and life-long learner I strive to always “look for the beauty, hidden in plain sight” and share that through my images and stories.
